Submitting Tax Documents for Preparation

Gather all of your tax documents.

These include

  • W-2's and 1099's. The IRS does receive copies of these, so you must have them on your tax return
  • Profit and Loss statement from your business
  • Rental and Farm income and Expenses
  • Brokerage documents including any from Crytocurrancy sales
  • Healthcare Savings Account distribution 1099-SA (if you have a W in box 12 on your W2, you should have one of these.)
  • 1095-A. If you have insurance through the Healthcare Marketplace at any time during the year, your tax return will not be accepted by the IRS without this form. If you did not receive one or are not sure if you were enrolled in the Marketplace, call 800-318-2596. Print off Form 1095-A from irs.gov and ask the person you talk to for the information to complete it. You will need all of the boxes filed in to file.

Someone will reach out to get your information to open a portal file for you to securely upload your documents. Do not include your social security number or birth date in the email.
